Your Simple 4 Steps to Using the Light of Rosh Hashanah to Heal

Betsy ChassePost

I lift up my eyes to the mountains;

What is the source of my help?

My help will come from Adonai,

Maker of heaven and earth.

– Psalm 121

Dear Friends,

As the birthday of the world sings to us rejoice life has been born, we cannot help but ask how do we stay connected to the joy of life when the burdens of life are so heavy? Any one of any faith can open one’s heart and soul to the light of Rosh Hashanah. This is a sacred time. For eight days known as the, “Days of Awe” we take time to remember the sanctity of life and the meaning of life as a “Spiritual Being having a human experience.” The Rosh Hashanah light is a powerful light of purification and redemption. Here are some simple steps to experience the cleansing light of Rosh Hashanah’s Radiance in your life. These steps can be used alongside any mindfulness or meditation spiritual practice you already have.

1. Proclaim the affirmation prayer:

“The Light of Rosh Hashanah washes over me purifying my soul.”

2. Look within; find a place in your heart which is troubling you. Ask God’s Presence to fill this place inside of you with Rosh Hashanah’s healing light. Visualize this light. Feel the warmth of this light.

3. Ask your Higher Power, God or Angelic Guide The Three
Questions:

“What is my life lesson from that pain?”
“What wise decision must I take now?”
“How can I repair this?”

4. With gratitude repeat the Rosh Hashanah affirmation/prayer
again.

Listen carefully to the answers. The answer will transform your life. Now you may hear more than one answer for each question. This is perfect. Use this time to dialogue with God and the Angels. This is your time of personal intimate spiritual experience.

Pretty simply isn’t it? Having a spiritual practice to create a happier and better life for your self does not have to be complicated.

Now I am going to share with you the healing I received today just by doing these four simple steps –

*************************

I repeated the affirmation/prayer out loud with my eyes closed while visualizing the lights Radiance above my crown chakra –

“The Light of Rosh Hashanah washes over me purifying my soul.”

Then I asked the first question,

“What is my life lesson from that pain?”

God answered, however, it was also my former mentor and therapist, Dr. Lawanda Staenberg’s voice that said, “Stop trying to fix people! You are suffering because you cannot fix anyone. You try. Your heart is in the right place, but there is nothing you can do. You cannot control an outcome.”

Hmmm, I said to myself, seems this is a lesson I have been working on for my entire lifetime.
I went on to the second question,

“What wise decision must I take now?”

Now I heard, “Accept this person as they are. Find another solution to get your needs met.”
Then the third question,

“How can I repair this?”

At which point I heard, “Lovingly become non‑attached, send the situation love, bless that person and let the energetic attachment become released into freedom.”

After this I felt a deep sense of peace and serenity. I repeated my Rosh Hashanah affirmation/prayer.

“The Light of Rosh Hashanah washes over me purifying my soul.”

I became happy again. I could feel the Radiance.

I hope that by hearing a little of my practice you will also find happiness and inner calm and peace in your life!
Happy Rosh Hashanah!
