DEIRDRE HADE
co-author of The (not so) Little Book of Surprises.
Since her early years in Memphis, Tennessee, Deirdre Hade has been an artist and a visionary, writing poetry and conversing with the mystical worlds. As a ballet dancer and choreographer recognized by Robert Joffery, she performed throughout the country and founded the dance ensemble, “Celebrations to the Sacred.” At sixteen, when her mother was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer, Deirdre discovered the healing power of light, enabling her mother to live thirteen years longer than expected. As the founder of Radiance Healing and Meditation, Deirdre has guided people worldwide, teaching them to harness their own inner wisdom and healing potential. She is currently writing her story of life as a modern day mystic.
Deirdre is a member of Jack Canfield’s Transformational Leadership Council, the World Peace Flame, and a founding member of the Association for Transformational Leaders in Southern California. She is featured as a Love Luminary in Marci Shimoff’s book “Love for No Reason,” which has sold over 20 million copies. In Keidi Keating’s new book, “The Light,” Deirdre is called a Light Luminary and her teachings on the Power of Meditation are featured alongside the writings of other modern day luminaries such as Neil Donaldson Walsh and Don Miguel Ruiz. Along with Jean Houston, Deirdre has been honored by the Circles of Light under the leadership of Dr. Iziz Fuqua where she received the F.L.O.W.E.R. award for her pioneering work in energy healing. She has also received the honor of being knighted by the Sovereign Order of the Knights Hospitallers of St. John of Jerusalem for her humanitarian work.
Deirdre considers her greatest accomplishment that of being the mother of her two children Leilah Katherine Franklin and Eric Harel Franklin.
Currently she is writing her autobiographical novel, a mystic in the modern age.
